Emailable pricing, explained

Emailable has some of the fairest terms in email verification: free credits, refunds for unknowns, and credits that never expire. Here's how its pricing works, and what the same volumes cost at MailExchange.

Updated 2026-10-17

TL;DR

  • Pay as you go: $38 for 5,000, $60 for 10,000, $420 for 100,000, $2,100 for 1,000,000.
  • Monthly: the same ladder at 15% off, cancel anytime. 5,000 a month is $32.30.
  • Terms: 250 free credits, unknowns and duplicates refunded, credits never expire.
  • MailExchange has the same terms and costs 18-29% less: $29 for 5,000, $299 for 100,000.

How Emailable pricing works

Emailable sells credits. One credit verifies one email address. You choose between two ways to buy them:

  • Pay as you go: buy a one-time pack of credits. The bigger the pack, the lower the price per email.
  • Monthly subscription: get a set number of credits every month at 15% off the pay-as-you-go price. You can cancel anytime.

Every new account gets 250 free credits, which is enough to test it on a real sample of your list.

5,000$38$0.0076
10,000$60$0.0060
100,000$420$0.0042
1,000,000$2,100$0.0021

What's refunded, and what expires

  • Unknown results are refunded. When a mail server won't give a clear answer, Emailable gives the credit back.
  • Duplicates are refunded. If the same address appears twice in your file, you pay once.
  • Credits never expire. Buy a big pack for the better rate and use it over as long as you like.

These terms matter as much as the sticker price. A verifier that charges for unknowns or expires unused credits can cost far more per useful result than its price table suggests. Emailable doesn't do either, which is why we think it's one of the fairest of the big names.

The same volumes at MailExchange

MailExchange uses the same model and the same terms: 250 free credits, unknowns and duplicates refunded, credits that never expire, and 15% off for monthly plans. The difference is the price.

EmailsEmailableMailExchangeYou save
5,000$38$29$9 (24%)
10,000$60$49$11 (18%)
100,000$420$299$121 (29%)
1,000,000$2,100$1,699$401 (19%)

On monthly plans the gap holds, because both take 15% off. 5,000 a month is $32.30 at Emailable and $24.65 at MailExchange.

MailExchange's full pay-as-you-go ladder is 5,000 for $29, 10,000 for $49, 25,000 for $99, 50,000 for $179, 100,000 for $299, 250,000 for $599, 500,000 for $999 and 1,000,000 for $1,699. See MailExchange pricing.

When Emailable is worth the extra

Emailable lists native integrations with HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Salesforce and Zapier. If you want verification running inside those tools without exporting a file, that's worth paying for. MailExchange works by CSV upload today, with an early-access API, and native connectors are on the roadmap. If you clean lists by file anyway, as most cold emailers do before importing into Instantly or Smartlead, you're paying Emailable's premium for something you don't use.

Common questions

Is Emailable's free plan really free? Yes. The 250 credits come with signup and don't need a subscription. MailExchange gives the same 250.

Is the monthly plan worth it? Only if you verify about the same amount every month. If your lists arrive unevenly, pay-as-you-go packs that never expire are simpler, at Emailable or here.

How do I work out what I'd really pay? Take the pack price and subtract what's refunded. With unknowns and duplicates refunded, you pay only for addresses that got a clear verdict. That holds at both services.
