From each vendor's own pricing page (NeverBounce, Emailable, Kickbox, ZeroBounce, Validity), checked 2026-10-17. Promotions not included.
MailExchange is the only option that costs less than NeverBounce at every volume, though at 10,000 the gap is just $1. Emailable is cheaper at 5,000 and 1,000,000 but costs more at 10,000 and 100,000. Kickbox matches NeverBounce at 5,000 and costs more above that, and ZeroBounce costs more everywhere, so pick those two for features, not price.

The alternatives, one by one
- MailExchange: the lowest pay-as-you-go price here at every volume, unknowns and duplicates refunded, credits that never expire. Built around cold-email workflows (Instantly, Smartlead, Apollo). Native connectors are on the roadmap, so today it's CSV or the early-access API. MailExchange vs NeverBounce.
- Emailable: the same refund and no-expiry terms as MailExchange, at a higher price than ours, with native HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo and Salesforce integrations. MailExchange vs Emailable.
- Kickbox: simple pay-as-you-go with unknowns refunded, SOC 2 and GDPR compliant. Costs the same as NeverBounce at 5K and more above that. MailExchange vs Kickbox.
- ZeroBounce: the biggest brand, with a finder, inbox tests and warmup bundled into its ONE plan. The most expensive for verification alone. MailExchange vs ZeroBounce.
- BriteVerify (Validity): built for enterprise buyers. No public pricing, so you'll need a sales call. MailExchange vs BriteVerify.
When to stay with NeverBounce
NeverBounce's monthly Growth plans are cheap at volume: 100,000 a month for $159 and 1,000,000 for $999, per its pricing page's plan calculator. From about 50,000 emails a month, that's less than MailExchange's monthly plan and less than every alternative above. If you verify a steady, high volume every month and use it all, staying makes sense.
Leaving makes sense when your volume is uneven, when you've lost credits to the 12-month expiry, or when you want unknowns refunded in writing.
Switching is easy
Verification has no lock-in. Use up your remaining NeverBounce credits before they expire, export your next list as CSV, and upload it to MailExchange. Start with the 250 free credits to check the results on your own data.
