TL;DR
- Pay as you go: $40 for 5,000, $50 for 10,000, $400 for 100,000, $2,500 for 1,000,000. Credits expire 12 months after purchase.
- Growth (monthly): $49 for 10,000 up to $999 for 1,000,000. Only new, unique emails are charged.
- Unknowns: whether they're refunded is not stated on NeverBounce's site.
- MailExchange is cheaper on pay-as-you-go ($29 for 5,000, $299 for 100,000) and credits never expire. NeverBounce Growth is cheaper than us if you verify 50,000+ every month.
How NeverBounce pricing works
NeverBounce, owned by ZoomInfo, sells verification two ways:
- Pay as you go: buy a one-time pack of credits, one per email. Unused credits expire 12 months after purchase.
- Growth: a monthly plan with a set volume each month. NeverBounce charges only for new, unique emails, so duplicates are free, and Growth includes auto-sync with your CRM.
To start, NeverBounce offers a free list analysis and free test credits. Its site doesn't say how many.

What's refunded, and what expires
- Pay-as-you-go credits expire 12 months after you buy them. Buy a large pack for the better rate and leave half unused, and that half is gone after a year.
- Duplicates are free on Growth, since it charges only for new, unique emails.
- Unknowns: not stated. We didn't find an official statement on whether unknown results are refunded. If it matters to you, ask NeverBounce before you buy.
Which NeverBounce option makes sense?
Growth is the better deal if your volume is high and steady. 100,000 a month on Growth is $159, against $400 for a one-time 100,000 pack. Pay as you go suits irregular volume, but the 12-month expiry means you should buy only what you'll use within a year.
The same volumes at MailExchange
MailExchange is pay as you go, with an optional monthly plan at 15% off. Credits never expire, and unknowns and duplicates are refunded. Here are the one-time prices side by side:
| Emails | NeverBounce (pay as you go) | MailExchange (pay as you go) | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5,000 | $40 | $29 | $11 (28%) |
| 10,000 | $50 | $49 | $1 (2%) |
| 100,000 | $400 | $299 | $101 (25%) |
| 1,000,000 | $2,500 | $1,699 | $801 (32%) |
MailExchange is the better fit when your volume goes up and down: a list from Apollo one month, nothing the next, a big import the month after. You pay less per pack, get refunds for unknowns, and never lose credits you paid for. See the full ladder on MailExchange pricing.
Common questions
How do I avoid losing expiring credits? Buy the smallest pack that covers the lists you know are coming, not the one with the best per-email rate. Or use credits that don't expire.
